MTSA Technopower representation for Fuel Cell Systems on the Chinese market

Hydrogen will play an important role in the energy transition towards sustainable, clean, safe and reliable energy supply. To make this possible MTSA Technopower is investing in the development of Fuel Cell Systems. The Chinese market is recognized to play a leading role in adopting clean Fuel Cell technology. MTSA Technopower and Characters Chemical Technology Co. joined forces to further develop the application of this sustainable technique in China. Characters Chemical Technology Co., lead by Mr. Bing Xu, will represent MTSA Technopower on the Chinese market for Fuel Cell Systems. Mr. Xu has a chemical engineering background, used to work for AkzoNobel and is well introduced in the Chinese Hydrogen and Chlor-Alkali sectors. Mr. Xu played an important role during the DEMCOPEM project, whereby MTSA developed and realized World’s largest (2 MW) Fuel Cell System for Ynnovate, Yingkou.

MTSA Technopower enlisted as member of Hydrogen Europe

Hydrogen Europe is the leading EU industry association in fuel cells and the hydrogen sector. The EU recognizes that CO2 emissions are the main cause of todays global climate change. CO2 emissions shall be reduced by the 2015 Paris agreement. Hydrogen shall play an important role in the energy transition towards a CO2 neutral society. MTSA Technopower develops Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems, which is seen as one of the important techniques to realise the energy transition and guarantee a safe and reliable energy supply, independent from fossil fuels. MTSA Technopower took part in several Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) supported projects and aims doing so as leading party in future projects. Hydrogen Europe is one of the 3 members of FCH-JU. 'Membership of Hydrogen Europe is therefore a logic step' says Rob van der Sluis, Manager Marketing & Sales at MTSA Technopower. 'We look forward to a groundbreaking cooperation within the Hydrogen Europe community and FCH-JU in jointly achieving the important goals of establishing a sustainable, clean, safe and reliable energy supply for ourselves and future generations.'

MTSA Technopower invests in new 5-axis CNC milling work centre

To continue meeting the growing demand for complex products MTSA Technopower invests in its machine park. Our newest asset is a SPINNER U5 1530 Advanced 5-axis simultaneous milling work centre.

This work centre is the perfect solution for complex 3- dimensional machining with maximum flexibility.

Han Kuster: Manager Mechanical Fabrication at MTSA Technopower: Originally MTSA Technopower is a company that customer specific machines, equipment and installations designs and builds. In general these are unique projects for which single piece or small series of complex parts are required. Given the application range of our markt sectors, e.g. the process, energy, food, pharma and precision machines it often concerns materials which are exposed to extreme conditions. These special alloys are not only expensive, but often not easy to machine. Required parts increasingly have complex profiles combined with high demands with respect to tolerance. That requires a combination of first class equipment and workmanship. Meanwhile production with the new work centre is in full swing, a nice example of precision machining in relation to 5 axis simultaneous milling: click-here

Robbert Smolders: Sales Manager Supply at MTSA Technopower. For the Business Unit Supply we produce (sub)systems, modules and complex single parts in small and medium sized series. The department, Mechanical Fabrication, playes a crucial role. Workmanship and flexibility count, but also delivery time. Customer demands become increasingly complex. This requires a lot from the team and machine park. The new 5-axis milling machine fits perfectly in relation to the demanding market. It provides increased production capacity and enlarges our technical capabilities. Herewith we shall serve our customers in future even better and more flexibel.

Are you interested and do you wish to take a closer look at the machine and further options offered by MTSA Technopower? Please contact robbert.smolders@mtsa.nl or call 026-363 6310.

MTSA Technopower gives lecture at the HAN university of applied sciences

Loek van Veggel, CEO MTSA Technopower, has been invited Wednesday 7 September by the HAN university of applied sciences, faculty Technical Business Management to give a lecture to the students about business planning.

In the lecture attention was paid on how to draw up a strategisc plan and how, via annual operational plans, the strategy is being realised. The students experienced the process of bringing about the strategic plan during the acquisition of MTSA in 2007 and the adjustment every five years.

Loek van Veggel gives frequent guest lectures at the Faculteit Technical Business Management. The students regard the lectures as being instructive and inspiring.
